Day 1 : Delhi

On your arrival in Delhi, you will be received by eland Holidays representative who will assist you to your pre booked hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Flight to Leh
In time you will be transferred to the domestic airport by the representative to catch the flight for Leh. On your arrival in Leh you will be greeted by our representatives there. They will assist you till the hotel as the rest of the day will be free for you to get familiar with the high altitude region. Also, you can continue with your personal activities followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Day 4: A Full Day Excursion in Leh
The vacations start with a full day expedition of Thiksey, Hemis and Shey monasteries. These are the three equally beautiful monasteries of the beautiful Leh. On the way to Hemis lies the Shey Gompa famous for its copper statues glided with gold. On the left side of the road to Hemis lies the Thiksey monastery, which offers a beautiful view of the Indus Valley. The Thiksey Gompa is also famous for its interesting wall paintings. From here, head towards Hemis, the most ancient, wealthiest and biggest Gompa in Leh. The beautiful paintings and stupas are also major attractions of this Gompa. Situated at a distance of 8km from Leh, Spituk Gompa is the venue to the famous Gustor Festival. Phyang Gompa is popular for its 900 years old museum. Stok Gompa was built in 1814 and is open to the public only during the daytime. It is famous for its rich collection of dance-drama masks.

Day 5 : Drive to Kargil
Today you will drive to Kargil via Alchi. Alchi is a small village situated on the bank of Indus River. The village houses the famous Alchi Gompa which is considered to be one of the oldest and finest monasteries possessing many Thangkas belonging to 11th or 12th century. Later in the evening you will reach the camp for overnight stay.

Day 6 : Kargil to Padum
On the sixth day, you will head towards Padum passing through Ringdom. Ringdom is a small village shelters the Ringdom Gompa. On your drive along Suru River you will witness splendid view of mountains and glaciers. One has to drive very cautiously and unhurriedly as the road is quite irregular.
Later you will reach Padam over Pansi-la [4406 Mt]. Padam is the headquarters of the famous Zanskar Valley. In Padam you will visit to Karcha Gompa by foot. To reach the destination you have to cross the Zanskar Valley as there is a little mount up to Karcha Gompa. Being the largest gompa in the Zanskar Valley, it possesses more than 160 yellow cap monks. The top of the gompa offers a splendid view. In 3 hours you will be able to cover a distance of 5 km. Dinner and overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 7 : Trek to Karsha
After, early morning breakfast you will proceed towards Karsha. On your way you will traverse Piptong and then soon after crossing the dusty bare land you will reach the Doda River. After climbing the river you will arrive at Karsha and will stay in the camps for overnight.

Day 8 : Karsa to Pishu
The trek to Pishu from Karsa is an easy walk of approx. 5 to 6 hrs to cover the distance of 13 km along Zanskar River. On your way you will also get a chance to visit the longest hanging bridge and the Thonde Gompa which is located along a hill. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the camp.

Day 9 : Hanumil
It is a 14 km long trek along the river and will take 5 to 6 hrs to complete the trek. You will reach Hanumil after crossing Pidmu which is reached after passing through the Morainic Plateau. At Hanumil, you will spend your night in the camp.

Day 10 : Hanumil - Snertse
Beyond Hanumil, it is an hour long easy path that will lead up to upland from Zanskar edge then to the base of the pass. After this you have to climb a difficult and steep mount to Purfi-la. From here, a steepp descent will make you reach the Oma-Chu River. Dinner and overnight will be in the tents.

Day 11 : Trek to Lingshet
Climb the way up through beautiful gorges and as you trek for 3 more hours you will arrive at Hanumala (4700 Mts.). Further descending for half a kilometer along the sides of a mountain you will reach Lingshad where you will stay for the overnight in the camp.

Day 12 : Trek to Marling
On the twelfth day you will trek towards Marling which is a 16 km long route and also the primary base to Singela. On your way, you will cross Singi la considered to be the highest pass of trekking. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the tents.

Day 13 : Marling to Photoksar
The trek to Photoksar is a 14km long route passing through Boumitse Pass which is situated at an altitude of 4,200 m. This pass is considered to be an ideal pass for trekking and leads to the Photoksar, located at the foothills. Overnight stay will be at the Camp.

Day 14 : Trek to Hanupatta
After an easy climb of an hour from Photoksar you will reach large chortens from where you will descent to cross the river bridge which takes you to the stone valley which is located few kilometers before Hanupatta. Here you will spend the night in the tents.

Day 15 : Hanupatta to Wanla
From Hanupatta you will trek towards Wanla passing through the Franji La (3410 Mts) crossing some fallen rocks. Later on you will reach Wanla after crossing the river bridge. Overnight camping will be organized at Wanla.

b>Day 16 : Last trek to Lamayuru
On the sixteenth day you will move to the last leg of trek to Lamayuru by way of Shilla, Prinkit La (3725 M) & further move down to reach Lamayuru which is a beautiful village imbibed with cultural extravaganza.

b>Day 17 : Drive back to Leh
Today you will drive back towards Leh. On your way you will get a chance to visit Lamayuru Gompa which is believed to be the oldest Monastic site. With several legends associated with it, Lamayuru Monastery has a rich collection of wall paintings and Thangkas. On your arrival in Leh, you will be assisted by our representatives for transfer to your pre-booked hotel.

b>Day 18 : Leisure at Leh
The entire day will be free for you. Either you can relax, roam around, do shopping or just enjoy the beautiful sites in Leh.

b>Day 19 : Board Flight Back to Delhi
Early in the morning, after the breakfast our representatives will assist you to the Leh/Srinagar airport from where you will board the flight for Delhi and will say good bye to the beautiful place.
