Day 1 : Arrival at Leh.
Flight for Leh.
In time transfer to domestic airport in order to board flight for Leh assisted by eLand Holidays representative. After reaching the destination Leh you will be greeted by our representatives followed by transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to get familiar with the environment and do your own activities.

Day 2 : A Full Day Excursion in Leh
The vacations start with a full day expedition of Thiksey, Hemis and Shey monasteries. These are the three equally beautiful monasteries of the beautiful Leh. On the way to Hemis lies the Shey Gompa famous for its copper statues glided with gold. On the left side of the road to Hemis lies the Thiksey monastery, which offers a beautiful view of the Indus Valley. The Thiksey Gompa is also famous for its interesting wall paintings. From here, head towards Hemis, the most ancient, wealthiest and biggest Gompa in Leh. The beautiful paintings and stupas are also major attractions of this Gompa.

This excursion will be followed by overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 : Drive to Pangong Tso (154 km/ 5hrs drive)
After early breakfast drive upwards along the Right Bank of the Indus River. Turn left from the Karu towards Chemdey Gompa and from there on keep moving along the sharp roadside towards Chang La. At Zingrul travelling check point (13,500 ft.) which is 12 km short of the pass, permits have to be verified. At the top there is a temple and the whole place marked by several prayer flags.

Tsoltakh is the next travelling check point followed by the villages Durbuk and Thangse, respectively. Both these villages are major army stations. Till Lukung it is a 32 km drive through magnificent barren mountain sceneries. Pass through several smooth green stretches of land with fresh streams perfect of composition between the Muglib and Lukung.

Pangong Lake that derives its name from the word hollow is a very long, narrow stretch of water located at an altitude of 14,500 feet. It extends from the east of the Ruthong region of Tibet till the west reaching the neighborhood of Chisul. It forms a boundary between Ladakh and Ruthong as it bends to the North West. One can found here rare migratory birds and the uncommon black necked cranes.

Late afternoon come back to Leh followed by overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4 : Visit to the Age Old Monasteries in Leh.
The morning will be free as in the afternoon visit to Shanti Stupa, Shankar Gompa (associated with Spituk Gompa) and Leh palace is planned. Shanti Stupa was built by Japanese. Shankar Gompa serves as the residence of the Head Lama. The wall paintings grab a lot of appreciation from the visitors.

Situated on the hill top, Leh Palace is to be visited by foot. This 9 storeyed Palace was built by Sengge Namgyal. This grand building is a perfect example of the Tibetan architecture and is said to have inspired the popular Potala in lahsa.

Day 5 : Excursion to Khardung-La
An excursion to worlds one of the highest motor able roads, Khardung-La (18,380 ft.), which is also the entryway to Nubra Valley, offers a picturesque of the serene mountains ( Parcha khangri, Stok Khangri etc.). After this excursion, come back to hotel to have lunch. The rest of the day is free for personal activities followed by dinner.

Day 6 : Catch Flight for Delhi.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport by the representative in order to make you board flight for the capital, Delhi.
